Blunt Force

No, it is not Eastwood's latest action movie.

I had seen General Blunt arrive before, but never noticed the title of his command: Blunt Force. Made me smile. ;)

Now if we can just get it to be Blunt Force Trauma, we'll have a Civil War TV show on our hands! :w00t:

Look out for the "We call a spade a spade Brigade" and the "Brutal but honest Division"

Speaking of leaders, have you seen John Wayne's unit? Also K. Costner has a calvary unit in the plains.
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Narrator: "In this episode of Blunt Force Trauma, the men are getting ready to move out, but discover that General Blunt is not activated."

Corporal Agarn: "Look, the general is passed out from drinking too much. Let's get him over to the Field Hospital where he can get activated."

Sergeant Bilko: "You fool! Field Hospitals don't help with activation. They're for recovering cohesion!"

Corporal Agarn: "The way he's lying there in his own vomit, he certainly doesn't seem to have much cohesion! And the way he's mumbling, he's definitely not very coherent."

Sergeant Bilko:

[What does Bilko say next? I'm out of ideas.]

Wasn't it Sergeant O'Rourke and Cpl Agarn? Then who's doing Grant's laundry?
:siffle:
The end of the Civil War was near, when quite accidentally....

"We warned him back in March '61 not to buy that tobacco plantation near Richmond. You remember?"
"Yeah. He said the war would never spread to Virginia and would be over by Christmas in any case. He'll make a killing!!"
"Yes, we have all been doing a bit of that!"

Reminds me of the woman who derided Churchill for being drunk.

Churchill: Yes, madam, I am drunk, but you are ugly, and tomorrow I will be sober. :D
