Activation test

Fri Aug 29, 2008 9:29 am

hi,
playing with teh British in the 1775 campaign my "brilliant" strategy is plagued by the continuous inability of the british major generals (burgoyne, howe et al..) to pass the active test at the beginning opf each round
i agree that this reflects the problems the british had historically to wage an "active" campaign in NAmerica
but is there anything i can do to improve my chances in the activation test?

very good game by the way :coeurs:

The activation test depends of the strategic rating of the commanding general (as you probably now). So putting in command generals with high start ratings (4,5,6...) will improve your chances.
Beside this... you can always check the option for "no activation test" but it will make the game much less interesting IMHO. :bonk:
In any case, playing the Americans or the French on the Francoindian wars is less frustrating as they have some very competent and active leaders,.

Regards!
