Oswego and Ft Carrillion

Mon Aug 11, 2008 9:55 am

Ok this is a bit of a silly question but please bear with me. When I play the Few Acres of Snow scenario as the French, I'm supposed to get 2 forts at Oswego and Ft Carillion. Do I get them for free or do I have to build them myself? (ie should they appear on map at the event?)

I've seen the garrisons appear but no forts. Am I doing something wrong? Could it have something to do with the fact that I wasn't in control of these areas until just before the event fired?

Tnx for your answers! :)

Actually, Oswego is built for the British....

They get built for you if the side building them controls the region.

I guess this is both answers in one! ;)

If you did control, but no fort appears, please upload the ScriptReport.txt from the turn that the event occurs.

Thanks! :king:

Ah ok!

I'll try to play the scenario again and keep you posted.

Thanks again!

Oswego works. Ft. Carilon does not. The French only get the garrison and not the fort, no matter what. It did work before the last patch though.

This happened in the last two games I played. In fact, I don't recall even getting the notice about the fort any more- the event has somehow been deactivated. I suspect the garrison is a different but simultaneous event and that is why it still fires.

Ft. Carillion bug found, fix in progress.

AFAIK, Ft. Oswego is British only, but currently is 'forced' to be built regardless of who control the region. Changing this is on the list. :)

Thank you for your feedbac and patience. :king:
