Need help with LocalStrings_NCP

Tue Aug 12, 2008 5:59 pm

Hi, I'm going to try evidencing mods to LocalStrings_NCP!
It's to underline lines I added as regard to Germany 1813 hist Mod!

Some days ago, Gray Lensman suggested to mark with a specific background color newely added lines......

At the top of LocalStrings_NCP we have these two sentences:

RED: Strings that should be translated or rephrased
BLUE: Strings that have been modified in the recent version compared to previous one

I'll try to go after suggested routine....

...please confirm I'm going doing the right thing!

Thanks in advance

Well, as long as it is not official, you can do what you want, while keeping in a separate xls file all your changes, in case they go official (this is never a given!).

But yes, coloring new lines and adding a note is handy.

Going official or not I think it is better to follow a standard routine.........
That could be usefull for 3rd party file exchanges, between modders, too!
