Values on Force Tab

Sat Aug 09, 2008 8:55 am

Hi all,

Starting the 61 Campaign as the South. Outside Sumter sits the Carolina Department force. Can someone tell me what the 66/89 means in the tooltip for Bartow's brigade ? (Attached screenshot)

Judging by the other tabs it is the strength of the unit, but 66/89 implies it is below strength yet I am seeing all the elements of Bartow's brigade at full strength.

Thanks.

Not knowing the exact TO&E for that brigade, my guess would be that it is lacking one of the elements it would have at full strength

That was quick !! Makes sense now Rafiki - Is this the games way of saying "This unit is not at it's full TO&E, but will be at some time in the future"

And as that was so quick can i indulge one more question ( for now :innocent: )

Is there a description somewhere of the icons that appear above units on the map ? See attached ss. I have worked out some of them but would be nice to know. Apologies if it is staring me in the face somewhere.

... provided that you have replacements of the needed type(s) available :)

The left-most is for posture; you can find an overview of the various posture icons and what they entail here: http://www.ageod.net/aacwwiki/Posture

The second one indicates that the stack is entrenching; don't recall what the third one is, though.
