Disabling AI option

Sat Aug 09, 2008 10:25 am

Disabling AI option is non sence option when gaming, but it could be a speeding up solution when testing!
I mind to events & HistOptions testing, in partuicular that I expect to work even when AI is disabled!
......Of course with AI disabled we have to test only player side related events and Hist options, I guess!

Hope anyone experienced with AGEod testing could confirm!

Disabling the AI is pretty handy when you're playing hotseat or PBEM, I imagine? :)

(BTW, how is this related to "helping to improve NCP"?)

I use it a lot to test events. Allows me to move 'other side' out of the way, avoid battles, etc...

AFAIK, the only way to test AI-only events is to watch [Fog of War "off", focus on move "on"] then examine scriptreport.txt to see if/what event did...
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!

Having it clarified will help me a lot to improve NCP mods testing! :niark: :niark:

I suggest that discussion of mods be moved to mods forum...

...whether a mod is an 'improvement' is really up to the community, not the modder....

Never said my mods represent an improvement!

Just said YOUR SUGGESTIONS are helping me improve my modding!
.....As regard...a big thank! :coeurs:

Not needed, as long as there is an order file, the AI won't be triggered.
