Division cost

Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:26 pm

Here's a question I do not think I have seen on the forums, and I have not seen specifically addressed in the manual.

When one forms a division, what exactly is the cost of doing so? Also, is there any cost to forming corps? Armies?

Is there a way to replace a division commander without having to dissolve his division and reform it with a new general ?

well, the problem is that most of the generals we have at the begining are bad... so when a good one appears I have to pay to replace an old one: it doesn't matter for the USA but for the CSA it's problematic as each $ is important :innocent:

As Division commanders, they work well in Corps stacks also.

Before you can build an army, you need to build an Army HQ unit. HQ units are actually quite expensive. But assuming that you have a spare Army HQ lying around, it doesn't cost anything to form an army.
