General War Order #2

Fri May 02, 2008 5:42 pm

"Keep 12 units adjacent to Washington, DC ..."

- 12 elements? 12 brigades? 12 divisions? 12 corps? 12 stacks? Any branch of service?
- Does adjacent mean in the same or any adjacent region?

Thanks. :)

12 Units of any type.
No matter if brigade or division. A stack can contain several units. These units contain one or more elements. These Elements are not counted however.

They don't have to be all in the same region. Any adjacent is good.

A division counts as 1 unit. In case Primasprit wasn't completely clear (although I believe he was), a balloon also counts as 1 unit. Fixed or static units count as well, so this event is almost impossible to mess up, unless Washington has fallen to the enemy.

I don't believe the Potomac River counts as an adjacent region that the event checks.

Thanks, Gentlemen. That was my thinking--you basically have this already, counting only what is fixed in DC anyway. :)

I just looked it up:

Anne Arundel, MD (Annapolis)
Charles, MD (Port Tobacco)
Montgomery, MD
Prince George's, MD (Washington)
Fairfax, VA (Alexandria)

12 units within any combination of those regions or cities. Calvert, MD and the Potomac River do not count. There are usually 9-10 locked units at DC, and another 5 at Annapolis.
