PBEM orders not executed

Tue Apr 22, 2008 8:40 pm

My opponent and I are having a problem with his orders being executed on turn 1. I double and triple checked that the activate AI button was not checked. We reloaded and started the game over three times now. I also tried going back a turn and reloading his orders. NONE of these things have executed his orders. Mine got executed as Union and I am hosting. NONE of his orders as CSA were executed. I looked in the save file before hitting the turn button to verify that the orders were there and they were. Really at a loss as to how this can happen. I have two other PBEMs going on and I am hosting them with no problems. ANY help greatly appreciated.

Are u absolutely sure u're both using the same game version?

I recommend not to use any betas if you're involved in PBEM and, eventually, uninstall, delete, reboot, reinstall, then patch to the latest official release: 1.09e.

I assume you can see the paper clip against his turn when you go into the load screen? If you are both on 1.09e you can PM me and I'll send you my email address and take a look at the files.

Cheers, Chris

We're still not sure what happened. We've gotten it to work now by having me host the game instead. Weird...
