Two improvements I'd like to see

Wed Mar 26, 2008 12:40 am

1) Streamlined PBEM...as in [Click]...Battlefile is ready to send to your opponent.

2) Hotseat play capability. I use this during scenario creation testing to speed click through turns to test reinforcements, etc. I suppose it is also used for hotseat play, one computer or network.

ARES (distributed with NCP, not sure about the availability for AACW and BoA players) makes things a good deal easier.

Hotseat is quite possible already; simply do "PBEM" on a single computer :)

Not quite sure exactly what ARES stand for, so a quick dash to Google tells me it is either:
1) A P2P program.
2) A NASA launch vehicle.
3) Amateur Radio Emergency Service.
4) American Real Estate Society.

My unqualified guess would be 1, but I hope for 2!
If it is 1 then more information is here:

Oddly enough work on it stopped in 2007.

AGEod Receiving/Emitting System

It is their TCP/IP utility.

Also, Athena's rival god of war. :turc: Just pretend you didn't know that and I'm actually giving you useful information. :niark:
