Indian Units that weren't lost replaced/doubled

Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:19 pm

Hello,

I just received (a few turns ago) a message saying that Indian units that were destroyed have been raised again. Only problem is, they have been smoking the peace pipe and chilling out for almost the entire campaign and none were lost in the first place.

Is this supposed to happen? The units have the exact same name as the old ones (so now I have doubles). Known error/bug? I should have a screenschot somewhere, but am at work at the moment.

The message is not exact. I believe it reflects some historical events

You receive 3 indian regiments yearly at least until 63... so you can have 9 indian units... even more if another indian (in the far north) events fire.

I believe it doesnt matter if your indians were killed or not. Even destroying some indian villages does not stop them from appearing.

Perhaps destroying all of them? Dont know

...or, it could be that the 'replacement event' references incorrect unit names!!! [it does!!!] :niark:
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
