what is important is the unit count, according to the command. This is not an element count (to be done).

So if it is the number of units, regardless of the number of elements, that counts, three single regiments should satisfy the event. Maybe the problem is that the event resolution message is wrong. I have never checked to see if my VP total actually was reduced by 25 points.

While working on my graphics mod, I just noticed that there are pictures for Little Crow (done by Sandra) and a model as well. Apparently someone at AGEod was thinking about doing more with this event ...

Pocus just answered the CountUnits syntax question in another thread.

CountUnits = $Great Plains;0;$USA;-1;<;3

$Great Plains alias of where to count the units
0 alias is a region, not an area
$USA faction
-1 any type of unit
< less than
3 how many units

Now you have the data. :D :indien: :dada:

BTW - I combined Red Middle Voice in with Little Six as one unit in my proposal, since they fought together, and I thought five was enough units. RMV was more influential, but L6 was the war chief.

Quick question: I am getting this event as the CSA, but all that happens is 3 units appearing in great plains, which then die of lack of supplies some time later, what gives?

The way it is currently written, they are locked. If they never get attacked, that is all that happens.

That actaully makes sense as those guys were probably never part of the confederacy.

OK - my problem with Fort Laramie. I'm playing as CSA. My Indians were attacked by garrison of Fort Laramie and won that battle. Now Fort Laramie still belongs to USA (without any unit inside). My indians are unlocked, but cannot enter the structure. Status of the Fort is still "Besieged". So, any suggestions???

They're free! Head south, get lunch, then go on a rail-breaking rampage.

If Indians are free and unlocked - use them or lose them. As CSA they have good nuisnace value. Especially if you dont have resources etc to watse out west.
