Stupid Question, which file for PBEM?

Mon Nov 12, 2007 2:23 am

What file do I need to send my opponent for PBEM? I said he could host so I assume he is, do I just send the USA turn file (I am US)? So do I just send that file after I make all my moves and he resolves it correct?

If he's hosting, the following should happen:
- He sends you the USA trn-file, which you copy to your savegame-directory
- You load up the game, place your orders, then save the game
- You send the USA ord-file that now should be in the same place as you copied the trn-file to

Thanks Rafiki. Figured it all out eventually ;-) Just some confusion between him and I, neither of us ever having hosted a game before.

I take it you have read the section on PBEM in the manual? If you have any feedback on parts that are unclear or missing, we'd be most interested in hearing it :)
