Quick update 1.06b

Fri Jul 20, 2007 6:00 am

Hi,

Another last minute update for AACW, which repairs the mess with the special order buttons. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Also, the up right buttons are now sorted correctly, with End turn to the right and save as the middle button, this is the new disposition which is less error prone.

Again sorry for the mess, we are massively synchronizing code with Celtic, the new dev, which is working on Napoleon's Campaign, and it seems we goofed on this one.

(I should really go now, if I don't want my significant other to start throwing things at me  ).

nb: in case of further trouble, apply the last official 1.06 patch on your current version.

It'll work "backwards"? I guess we could call that a "downgrade"! :niark:

No Kidding, Thanks for the quick rework, Pocus.

AGEOD customer support responsiveness is simply incredible. The best in the industry, bar none.

Actually, I find WCS (FoF and CoG) along with quite a few of the Matrix forums to be pretty darn responsive also, definitely a step up from the big retail gaming forums.

I order you to leave your computer and go immediately on vacation. You have performed above and beyond the call of duty. :gardavou:

Ooops!

Pointed out to me by Walloc/Rasmus, and confirmed by me:

There is a new bug in the v1.06b upgrade which effectively limits the capacity of divisions to only "12" units, instead of "18" units.

At least we can "downgrade" back to v1.06.

yeah i just noticed it - disbanded all the divs in Jackson's magnificent war machine and had a lot of parts left over after maxing out the reformed divs

I think Pocus' subconscious is letting these bugs slip in on purpose so he can indefinitely postpone his vacation. :)

I find there support to be very good as well. The only noticeable difference is that with AGEOD, you usually do not have to wait long at all for minor tweaks on patches dealing with bugs, whereas WCS does tend to be a bit more comprehensive with their patches, which means more time between releases. Still, they do a very good job at support and are a fine company.
