Army HQ with Buell didnt arrive

Wed Jun 13, 2007 7:50 pm

Can anyone confirm what could be the cause of Buell, who arrives in Feb or Mar '61 in full campaigns, not arriving with an Army HQ as mentioned in the General's Arrival doc thats out there...(btw- why is this doc not available on this website? Cant find it with a search)
North has 4 Army HQ limit at that time (ver. 1.03) and I have 4 HQ on the map, 3 assigned to generals and the 4th just being shipped out west. Is this the reason? That there is the max HQ's already on the map and that my last purchased HQ supplanted the freebie I would have gotten with Buell?? Or is the general's doc out of date maybe with the newer patches?

Anybody now for sure? :siffle:

What would have happened if I had number 4 HQ in production only when Buell shows up? Does the Buell HQ show up or not?
Thanks in advance.

John

No more free HQ's!!! It's been that way for a while now.

1.04a was just released.

We can send you this doc yes. We would need also some volunteers to check the manual for some update :)

My dream would be to have an online version of the docs à la the ones you find at MySQL, where users can provide comments and insights directly to the various sections.

...or perhaps a wiki? :)

I'll admit, there would be more surprising sources for such a suggestion, yes ;)

this would be great, but it can only be a volunteers work, as we are already quite busy in the team. It don't means we would not read it and provide insight, but the actual maintenance would be your burden... so Rafiki, was it a proposal? :)

I guess it was :)

However, while I'm decent at getting systems up and administrating them, I'm not that good on filling them with content (those familiar with VickyWiki when it started up will remember that it mostly consisted of "Memnon's manual"), so I'm wondering what kind of interest there is in the community to make use of such a wiki, should I set it up.
