Error Message

Sun Jan 25, 2015 12:06 am

Pocus,

I recently upgraded my RAM from 4GB to 8GB. When I launched TEAW, I received the error message below. I uninstalled and re-installed the program and updated to version 1.01, but the error message persists. The same error afflicts CWII. I tried re-installing the old memory, but both applications still generate the error message. Do you have any suggestions?

Pocus,

This is the main log from my most recent install:

This is the main log from a prior install:

In researching the error, it appears it might (?) have something to do with the .NET framework. Automatic Updates recently applied .NET 4.5.2. I used system restore to revert to a prior state (.NET 4.5.1) then tried installing again, but the error persists and affects CWII as well.

The Slitherine Helpdesk can help you on this issue probably, this seems to be indeed Windows related. You can contact them at support@slitherine.co.uk

The error has completely resolved itself, and I have no explanation as to how or why. Both games are now installed and patched to the latest official version and running fine, but thanks for the link.
