[EAW] Over by Christmas

Sat Aug 30, 2014 2:32 pm

Hey Folks,
Looking for 2 other players for EAW. This will be my first PBEM with this game. Goal would be 1 turn per day, if feasible. I would prefer to play Central powers, however I am flexible, and if people have conflicting preferences we can randomly assign sides.
I am flexible on rules if others have better ideas. I would like to start Monday.

Rules:
- medium delay
- historical attrition
- veteran activation
- easy supply off
- Standard Rule Shipping

Please post or PM me if interested!

I'm interested. The rule set looks good. I prefer Eastern Entente.

I would be willing to take the Western Entente. It would also be my first PBEM with this game. The suggested rules look good to me. Sent my email via PM.

These are the rules* I play as well. If it's hard, it's got to be hard! :)
Good luck to you, please post a screenshot every now and then. Zoom out show you don't show any troop movements, just the map borders (using the filter).

*not automated replacements as well

Actually, having automated replacement on (and at a low rate) might not be a bad idea, if hard is what you're aiming for. In the EE game I'm playing against Athena I had a Russian army that was almost completely wiped out, but once I got it to a supply source, BAM, one turn and it's back to full strength. I'm thinking a slower trickling in of replacements might be a good idea and more historically accurate
