"Save as"

Sun Feb 26, 2006 5:56 am

I wish there were a "save as" button. My games are getting mixed up! Saving by date and time works sometimes, but I generally need to specify what is going on in my save titles-such as "completely FUBAR as Brits, 1776".

Saving needs improvement.

Yes we need to have as an option the ability to name our own saves.
Plz n Thx.

A question before, how many games do you play in parrallel? More than 6? Because we would like to add a kind of "auto manage these files" procedure:

a) only the 10 or so most recents games are shown in the save window
b) games 11 to 20 are not shown but are still on your hard drive, if you want to retrieve them for a reason or another.
c) game 21+ are deleted automatically

Renaming is a bit tricky, as a BOA game is in fact a folder. Its feasible yes...

I could be playing 3 games at any given time. This is due to the variety of scenarios. A display of "a" above would be good. I would prefer the ability to name the save files, however.

I think the naming feature is most important, particularly for those who like to overwrite previous saves as a game proceeds.

I tend to have multiple games going at once (nopt yet with BoA, but plan to), but only have one current save for each, which I update usually from turn to turn.

I have dutyfully (sp?) noted that this feature is important for several users.

I'd like to add another vote for a "save as" feature.

I haven't recieved any more email from you other than the first one.

Many thanks. The rapidity of the feature enhancements to an already very good game are mighty impressive. I'm only just getting a chance to tinker with the game so far due to other demands, but BOA appears to be both a lot of fun and to have a lot of depth. Y'alls responsiveness and customer service has been second to none. :coeurs: Keep up the good work.

Regards,

kgsan
