I am in a PBEM of the 1756 start campaign game as Prussia. On turn 1, the Prussians duly occupied the three regions surrounding the Saxon Army in Pirna and one Prussian column laid siege to Pirna itself. All quiet after that, no breakout or relief attempts. All the three required regions were in 100 percent Prussian military control at the start of Turn 2. We are both using ROP Gold QF V. 1.10.
We are now starting Turn 6 (late November) with the snows falling and the Saxon surrender has still not triggered. Pirna has been surrounded and under siege for 5 turns (albeit no breaches). The tool-tip for the event says 1-3 turns is the range for triggering the event once the conditions are satisfied. My understanding is that the triggering of the conditions is unrelated to whether Pirna is being successfully sieged - you just have to control those 3 regions.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?
