Hi, I enjoy playing Ageod games now for one year, particular the PBEM mode.

For some reason one of my PBEM opponents writes articles about strategy games in an young online magazine about strategygames I found out. I talked with him much about how to bring Ageod games closer to the gamer community in our country Germany. After a bit talking he suggested me to contact the editor of this Magazine called "Der Stratege" which I did and became part of the ditorial staff. The Magazine itself exists since November 2012 and is released monthly.

My first article is about the PBEM mode in Ageod games in general. you can find the Magazine in Lindis link, my article is on page 20. You wont be able to understand much if you can´t speak german :P

Edit: In Adobe reader you have to type page 11 in

It looks like a very interesting magazine - wish I could understand it!

Cheers,
Chris

These two articles about AGEOD are probably very good to attract new players, but they don't contain new information for readers of this forum.

I am currently working on an 4 part AAR about my AACW game against Lindi. 1 part summarizes 1 ingame year.

I want to make some editet overview maps for it with Photoshop but there is just the strategic map in a small format with the strategic towns/railroad symbols in my docs folder. What I need is the whole map in jpg or bitmap format without any extras like in Rise of Prussia.
It would be very nice if someone of you could send me a large picture of the map, so that I can use it for the AAR :) .

If there is much interest in the AAR I could translate or let it translate by someone else into english (my english isn´t perfect like you may have noticed already:neener :) . The whole AAR is planned in form of ca 10-20 double pages and like I already said in 4 parts. I can post a little preview during the next weeks.

If there is much interest for a translated version I have to know if you guys want every part monthly like in the magazine, or all 4 parts together when its finished (note that it will be released 4-5 month later in this case).

Most fans here love every AAR someone takes the time and effort to do. :-)
