Victory conditions for Boer War need adjustment

I was having a great time with the Boer War scenario. The difficulty of moving a huge British army in South Africa, the mobility and deadliness of the Boers, having my troops suffer greatly from a typhus epidemic, the loss of National morale at home, all enhanced a fascinating game.

Then I captured the Orange Free State Capital of Bloomfontein, and got the victory message. The message stated that I had twice as many points as everybody else, and won the game. I had not captured a single region in the Transvaal.

That bears no relation to history. The war went on for well over a year after all the Boer capitals were taken. A brutal guerrilla war took place, and the British were only able to win by building fortified blockhouses all over the area. They also invented the concentration camp, by moving a huge amount of the Boer civilian population into guarded camps, so they could not provide support to the guerrillas.

I know there are higher priorities, but at some point it would be great if the victory conditions would be corrected, to perhaps require the British to control every area in the British colonies, and the Boer nations, along with the total destruction of the Boer forces.

This is not a complaint, just a request for improvement. I have had more fun with this game than any I can recall.
