Can you give us an installer for the patch?

Wed Jun 15, 2011 3:06 pm

The 1.02 beta patch does not help me, as I lack the expertise to install it, as do many.

I have been with Ageod since before BOA. Every beta patch used to come with an installer, until this one.

I would be most grateful if you could provide an installer for this beta patch, as being unable to use it is torture.

The full patch will have that.

What exactly is the show stopper for you? Maybe we can help out here.

Thank you for your kind offer of help.

The main problem is that I have not done this kind of file shifting and deleting and movement among files before, and do not want to mess up the installation.

This may seem like a very simple operation to those of you who know computers well, but to me, it is new territory and somewhat intimidating.

if you need something to "unzip" the download then download this free application http://www.7-zip.org/

also - the best thing to do is copy the entire PON directory and paste it somewhere else

then just have a go at following the instructions with no fears of messing up your original install

I can understand that. Even I as an experienced user consider those things, with experience also comes some gung ho mentality sometimes ;) .

The recommendation given above is good. Make an extra backup of the folders and then delete them as instructed, then move over the folders from the zip file.

That is what I did. Adds a little time, but I knew I could go back to the original if needed.
