Ambush

How often do you use ambush?
I have tried few times with a small force and it always ended with an loss. But, what if one would make an entire division of raiders, Indians, cavalry and partisans. Would it be more effective then, or would they retreat after the first round?

Personally, I almost never use ambush.

Never tried an entire division on ambush however.
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.
