How do I play solo?

I'm new to AGEOD games and would like to play a few turns against myself to get a handle on the game mechanics before I tackle the French and Indian War campaign. I did a search but came up empty, so I'd appreciate it if someone could give me a quick explanation or point me toward a thread. Thanks!

Hi Sieben, just go into the options and turn off Activate AI. Then start a new game and when you have finished plotting your moves as side 1 click save and then press Esc to go back to the main menu and choose Load Scenario and click on the other side (the one without the little red paper clip symbol) - plot your moves and click the End Turn button. After this just repeat the same thing.
