Minor quibbles:
the mouse sensitivity remains yet a little subpar. i've yet to test with the settings, but that point is yet to improve. But that's at last better than in the first version and if not enjoyable, perfectly playable.
Map scrolling is too a little uneasy. I play in high resolution but my laptop can deliver.
The rest:
So much better.
1) interface is streamlined. No more the feeling to be lost. between messages, new interface tools, the gameplay is much smoother. selecting an Army or corps with the mouse and planning movement isn't anymore difficult.
Of course, interface isn't as good as for other Ageod games. Some texts are very small, some buttons too small, but that's too very minor troubles.
2) the map: I like it. Clear and pleasant, with a good period feeling.
3) the new battle window: at last you're understanding battle mechanisms
4) the same for diplomaty: the management is now really easy
5) the AI: too soon to comment but I've activated the more time to Ai and all behaviour options. AI is doing real diplomatic actions and the first choices of events seems logical
So, for now, a well worth buy
