SSD, the future of computing

Sun Mar 28, 2010 7:55 pm

Just a small footnote to point out since I replaced the stock HD of my laptop by an Intel X25M SSD, I simply feel I've exchanged my computer to the most powerful system I dreamed. Files and program open with no delay, Windows 7 boot in less than 10 seconds.......terrific

Expensive, yes, but less than before. And that's like I would have bought a new end line laptop...

Mine is 160 gb, ie the same size than the HD I replaced with.

160 is about 400 Euros. I know... ;) But really, it's not overpriced. i've seen in use before and that's really the best computing buy I've made for years
