Small Ship Fixes...

Okay,

1755 Campaign...

I have discovered [color="DarkOrange"]Corps of Armed Battoemen [/color]will fix my Batuex in certain places. ([color="Red"]British[/color])

Now, is there any equivalent in the [color="RoyalBlue"]French Army[/color]? I am woefully being beaten
and am wondering if any of my smaller boats will every be fixed on the lakes...

Mmm... i don't think battoemen fix bateaux. Thhey construct new bateaux by event when they are located on some places (Ft Niagara, Ft Duquesne, Ft William Henry...)
Its true bateaux (and other ships) are very hard/impossible to keep repaired on the lakes. Probably because the port sizes are very small. Hudson river batteaux (New York/Albany) have no problem to repair IIRC.
As PhilThib says only British has battoemen.
