Problem with Initiative

Wed Mar 11, 2009 7:13 pm

I've encountered what I think is a bug with initiative in the army-by-army activation mode. I have an autosave file from the start of the Sept. 1914 turn. When I load it, it is the 'swap turn' phase - I 'won' the initiative roll, so I'm scheduled to go first. However, as soon as I unpause the game, I get the message (in the chat box) that the Central Powers have decided to swap the turn order, and allow the Entente to go first. Checking the map, this is indeed what has happened. The problem is that I did not click the 'swap turn' box, and indeed very much want to go first - in the current game, if I go first, all I have between my Germans & Paris is the shattered remains of the Belgian army. Being forced to go second gives the French the opportunity to redeploy to save the capital.

I don't mind losing the initiative die roll, but I do mind 'auto-swapping' even if I win. :)
