Just bougth a boxed copy of WW1 but I haven't received a download link, is this ok?

I don't think you're supposed to receive a download link when you buy a boxed copy. I'm not sure though, but I didn't receive one when I bought Great Invasions, although that's some time ago (and a different game, of course).

Yes, boxed copies does not need a download link.

However, just in case the DVD is broken and malfunctioning, a download link would be useful, mainly because you can reuse the serial key number printed on the game manual.
