Replay Feature - How should it work?

Now as one of the great technical illiterates I'm having problems with the replay feature in 1.13 I did a complete fresh install. I get the replay icon in the game menu but when I click on it nothing happens.

I'm not the host. I've looked at my saved game file and all I have is the usual trn and ord files.

As the non host when I receive the trn file from my opponent I overwrite the previous trn file. As non host I dont automatically generate any backup turns as its not me that is processing each turn so always overwrite the previous turn file. Is that what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure the fault lies with me it usually does

I'm not an PBEM expert but i think the host has to send you a new extra file after processing each turn, besides the .ord and .trn files.
A replay file with the .rpl extension.
It should be called "Replay_CSA.rpl" or something like this.
Put it together with the .ord and trn files and you should get to see the turn replay
