Indeed, but WW1 uses an entirely new engine and is by and large an entirely different game. The main difference with regards to PBEM is that WW1 has so many switches between players when it comes to actions/reactions that PBEM is impossible; even if you were to exchange "moves" several times a day, you wouldn't get a turn done in weeks ;)

On the other hand, WW1 does support multiplayer games over the net :thumbsup:
