Can someone explain such a battle result?

Thu Dec 11, 2008 1:40 pm

Seven consecutive defeats with this kind of result in a turn, a cavalry regiment almost destroyed and having to withdraw… how many Gatling guns did my opponent carry on his balloon ???

I noticed there was 1 more horse killed than men (92 vs 91)...the poor animal was hit by a sandbag dropped from the balloon :mdr:

To understand the results you need to know- Were the 8 horses in the balloon unit real or were they "balloon horses" made by a southern sympathising clown.

Also, that same clown could have outfitted the troops with "balloon weapons and armor"...have you seen some of the high tech weponry the average clown can make with a balloon?
Rider....watch out for that droppppppp

I could send you the .ord file but I think you would need the . trn more, Dusdosh is the host and maybe he still have it.

This battle occurred because there was a balloon hanging around and tried to capture it with a cavalry regiment + troops already there (Norkolk)

All files are needed to be able to reproduce the turn; .trn, .ord and .hst :)

Can't you just zip/rar/packwithsomethingelse the whole folder with all the files, upload/send that and tell when the fight took place? I am pretty sure Gray/Pocus are able to figure out how to see that particular turn :)
