Training game-Finally Ends

Mon Dec 01, 2008 11:04 pm

Playing a two player campaign game against the AI. Got to May 1919 and the Polictical AI started using 100 percent CPU. I had this problem before patching. Now patched to 104e(beta). Game has been running great then all of sudden on turn May 1919 the Polictical AI gets stuck.

The game ran good from 104-104e. Then all of sudden. Its stuck. I reran Mar-Apr 1919 turn and into may again and the same thing-stuck in Polictical AI (stop responding)(Mar-Apr ran good) (May did not).

Done this prior:

AI log set to :0
sound: off
anti-virus: off
firewall :o ff
standard turns: off
Give ai time: off
AI all strategy: off
security set to: 3
cache bin: Dumped

Try this:

The missing .ini files will be included in the next patch, of course! ;)

In addition, an AI boost will be present too.

It wasn't over yet(May 1919). It froze up in the polictic ai. The game wouldn't respond (100%)cpu usage.

If i understand your question. Yes you can play the 2 player campaign with only you against the AI. Just click on the Allies or the Central powers-the helmets. :)

U.S. Finally lands in France

Sat Dec 06, 2008 5:35 am

:w00t: Finally in Sept 1919 the U.S. Army/Marines land in France. They go into battle in the dead of winter in Nov-Dec 1919 at Pfalz with Marines leading the way(with a victory). The French and British are not impressed-they have been fighting since 1914/1916.

Austria-Hungry Surrender! End game: Stalemate :( :bonk:

This is what patch104g and Calvinus hard work has accomplished. I do thank him. I was able to concentrate on learning the game and strategy.

Now I know that my game will play all the way thru.
