Army Strength's

Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:19 pm

Thanks to a BOA2 gamer Siekster... I was able to find out how to determine the troop strength numbers for each Regiment in my command, however is there a method or control to determine the troop strength of enemy regiments?

Other than the 'power estimate', no.

I think of it as 'fog of war' :)

You can get a rough idea of the strength, and compare to power number of your forces.
Even the spies can't help more than that [I guess they can't count very well ;) ]

Of course, once you've been in a battle with hem you'll see their numbers in battle report.... kinda late, though :o ;)

Has anyone tried to mod this title to include such information?

Is the title easily modded or will it require a great deal of time.

Much is very moddable, but I'm not sure about the enemy displays.

Scenarios, units, models, terrains, weather, map names, structures, city locations/sizes, events, .... all easily moddable [else I wouldn't be doing it :D ].

Graphcs [portraits, etc] are heavily modded [by others. You don't want to see my efforts ;o]

Maps even, but that is pretty esoteric. Beyond my ability [for now ;) ]

For the original BOA... is Troop Strength non included in the title?

AGEOD: 1. Would it be possible to include troop strength to the original BOA?

2. Would it be possible to include troop strength to the pop up window bar that is placed over a enemy army?

Hi,

1. There's no incoming patch for BOA, so no modifications at this time.

2. Today you have an estimate power, it's a part of Fog of War ... i'm not sure that add ennemy troops strenght will enhance BOA2.

When troops are on sight, you can see each unit strenght : the distance is too short ?

A note on that.... I know we can see the enemy unit strengths, and usually what I do is pop out a calculator and add them all up, so I know what the enemy stack strength is. Sometimes though, I get lazy ... :bonk:

How hard would it be for a total enemy stack strength to be displayed after listing the individual unit strengths?
