Protectorate Crisis Clarification

Thu Aug 23, 2012 4:53 am

Looking for input on the details in two areas for accuracy and enough detail for a full written description in the manual.

First item is the process and timing:

Early Jan - Occupant controlling capital plays Protectorate action.

Early April - Stakes should be played now. A stake has a 50% chance of triggering a Crisis.

Late April (Final turn -turn 8 - of Protectorate action) - Any pending Crisis is reported and orders for it must be entered. Last chance to cancel Protectorate Action. Last chance to declare war pre-Crisis.

Early May - Any pending Crisis resolved and Protectorate action resolved consistent with it.

Second item is the nature of the effects on CP, loyalty, structures, units etc. if the Stakeholder wins and the occupant loses (Case A) without a war and (Case B) with a war involving the occupant. Issues include what flips nationality, what is removed because the Stakeholder would be ineligible to hold or build it, teleporting (how far?) of units or their destruction.
