Battle Reporter

Wed Jun 10, 2009 1:55 am

Arsan and I, with help from GustFire, have adapted the AACW Battle Reporter to work with WIA. I've posted the .rar and .zip editions below. This hasn't been as well tested as the AACW version, so please consider it a beta and let us know if you find any bugs.

Arsan is too modest. It was his idea to try the AACW Battle Reporter on a WIA Battle Log; I would never have thought of that. Also, he and GustFire did the testing, which is most of the work on an adaptation. I just tweaked some code (and was hooked on WIA in the process!). The credit for the project is mostly theirs; the bugs and other faults are all mine.

You both are worthy!

Caccio and Arsan are BOTH being too modest.

It is a most excellent program, I've been using it in my 1775 Campaign against the AI, and it provides great data to analyze as a commander. No problems so far, though maybe one time out of a hundred it seem to forget to identify the American commander.

I merely provided the cannon fodder data. ;)

A great program, thanks guys!

I need to see one of the logs to know whether the exception is coming from the BR or is being generated by something else, like your antivirus program. Please send a copy of the log to my email address, which is in the BR readme. Also, it would help if you send me the full and exact wording of the error msg you're getting.

EDIT:

Ok now I see what it does, I had to download it and read the txt file.

This looks pretty awesome, cannot wait to try it out. It works ok with the current version of WIA?
