Lee earlier

Tue Jan 13, 2009 11:35 am

I would like to ask what would be the reasons that Mr. Lee would come earlier:

Is it only when are getting US Troops to close to Richmond, or must they attack Richmond that the comes earlier?

Regards

While Grays reply is excellent, it doesn't actually give an answer the question ;)

To get Lee released early, Union troops have to actually attack Richmond, just like any locked units get released when the opponents attack them :)
There are three kinds of people: Those who can can count and those who can't.

Gray_Lensman wrote:Thanks for pointing out that I forgot to answer the question itself... Been quite busy in the last 24 hours. However, you are also partially incorrect. Lee can also be released if between 1862/03/01 and 1862/06/01, the USA is in the "Close to Richmond" area discussed in several threads. This does not have to be for the 2 turns as previously discussed.

To be honest, this is the first time, I've studied the Lee event(s) in this detail and I will have to take this information into account regarding the new proposed 1862 "Threaten Richmond/Central Virginia" events. The discussion on this new twist will take place in the beta group however, not out here in the public areas.

Thank you for somewhat drawing my attention to this.

shit :mdr: ..march 1862..Version 1.13...to close to richmond :D
