Elite Infantry ?!?

Hi,

you can buy replacements for "elite infantry", so there must be somewhere some of these units. But I'm not able to find them. Could anybody explain me the mechanics behind "elite infantry"? Thanks.

They are used to replace/repair elements that belong to the "elite" category, i.e. "marines", and "infantry (elite)", in addition to some elements you can see if foreign intervention gets triggered: "grenadiers", "highlanders" and "légionaires"
