Yes, for those of you like Grudgebringer, I am the same WillisNYC from CWG2! Better get your licks in now while I lack experience, cause as Grudge knows, after a month or so, ole' Willis is a fast learner and was damn difficult to beat soon after he started playing CWG2. I am licking the computer on hard setting and it still whups me on hardest, but I am anxious to see how 'real' opponents do!

What configuration/possible mods do you suggest that we use?
I am a total noob on PBeM AACW, but have played other games for a loooon time.

In answer to yours and any other queries, here are my proposed mods, but I am willing to be flexible.

Fog of War- Normal
Redeployment- One unit per turn
Activation- Middle slot
Delayed Commitment- 2nd slot- Small delay
No randomized generals, 1st slot, u rebs should love that
Normal foreign entry level, 2nd slot
Normal naval- 1st slot
Historical attrition 2nd slot

I have the latest 1.09e patch.
I wish to play the April 1861 campaign until one of us resigns.


I have my own business and work from home. Thus I have lots of free time and can conceivably do as many as three or four turns per day. Since this is more than most folks, I figure that I can play 3-4 opponents and make a turn per day, per opponent.
Weekends are heavy workdays for me, but I can still get in a turn a day with the hours I run, but cannot commit to additional turns on weekends.

If you are still looking for Reb opponents give me a tinkle. I'm a Brit and somewhat tired of always being asked to play the Union. Playing the underdog just once in a while would be nice. Anyway we should have aided the South just to get our revenge for the Tea Party.
