Wanted: Two reliable rebels for BoA American Revolution Multiplayer

Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:51 pm

Greetings, Bonjour & Guten Tag!

Three British officers from the Colonial Campaigns Club seek two more opponents (we have one, so far) for a multiplayer PBEM campaign of the American Revolution on BoA.

We are veteran wargamers who can be expected to last through the campaign if it take a year or more (as it most likely will); and we expect our opponents to be equally prepared to go all the way. One of us, Gene Renna, is an experienced BoA player and I understand well known on these boards (in any case he has written a lifely AAR for a 1775 game); one of us, Steve Jones, is a BoA newbie but fascinated by the game; and I have played about a dozen BoA games with Gene but nothing bigger than Montcalm.

We intend to register the game with the Colonial Campaigns Club, where BoA is supported, but not yet broadly established; in fact, we believe this to be a chance to promote the game a little (for instance with a running report with a few pictures &. on the club board) in this club which covers the same time frame as BoA, but has so far exclusively been based on the tactical level HPS/John Tiller games (1776, 1812, French & Indian War). We do not foresee any difficulties however if a part of the rebel team were not members of that club, and in any case we would play the game all the same. :innocent:

If you are interested please reply here or contact one of us per PM or Email. Our user names: grenna (Gene Renna); stejones82 (Steve Jones); Joe Bukal (Joe Bukal); Heldenkaiser (D.S. Walter).

This could be fun and I'm more of a French and Indian War specialist.

Count me in! :cwboy:

I am sure it's going to be fun ... however, we already have four rebels! I guess I should have posted that information here ... my apologies. :o

Can I keep you on the reserve list, so to speak? Maybe there is an opening at some point. :)

Ludovic - we are actually down one player. The rebellion is still in it's infancy, but I would propose that you command the French when they arrive.
