This has improved my game...

I bought and installed 2 gigs of DRAM for < $100 US. What a difference in gaming - no long load time, the screen scrolls quickly, turns are processed and results pop up very fast...it's like a new gaming expereince for me. For the first time I have played most of a campaign in a weekend - heck, I may even finish a game before the next patch comes out!!
[my system is a 2 year old Dell Optiplex, nvidia FX 5400, & now 3 GB ram]

I went from 1 to 4 and a faster machine, but mainly you could see that the disk completely stops thrashing with more memory. The maps stays in memory and that makes everything much smoother.
