So what does it take to win Swedish scenario?

Thu Jun 29, 2017 4:42 am

I have tried everything I can think of – over dozens of replays and a gazillion turn do-overs

even on the easy level with increased recruitment - I can't win.
I captured all of Pomerania & Mecklenburg
Saxony, Brandenburg & France all entered my side (though France accomplished little)
I captured 10 of the 12 objectives (all but Vienna & Munich)
My morale level was 140 and I had over 2500 victory points – but still lost.
How do you do it?

I like the period - love Swedish history, but starting to get a little discouraged here.

You must be playing versus AI, which is a challenge indeed.
With AGEOD games, you have to understand victory conditions are not typical, you must win, but you must also win the historical conditions.
Typically, if you gain a marginal win, reason to celebrate.

Speaking of comparing it to history - how likely is it Gustavus enters Munich by may 1632?
Can it even be done?

The answer is Yes. But in order for this to happen, you have to do poorly as Denmark so Sweden can get into the game earlier.
