Rotation of supply wagons

Wed Mar 02, 2016 11:03 am

Dear EAW,

Currently my Italian troops have taken the fort of Trento. Now 2 supply wagons are out of supplies. I let them travel to Venice and then return to Trento with supplies (all conducted in 1 turn). But when the turn passes and I check the supply wagons they didn't take any supplies with them...other stacks don't have these problems. Can you tell me what's going on here? I have set the supply wagons on both the green stances.

Supply phase is at the start of the turn. To be refilled the supply wagons have to be at the start of the turn in a well supplied depot.

But sometimes a supply wagon travels 3 days to the supply region and it takes again 3 days to return to it's original stack. It is always fully loaded with supplies. However I encounter only the empty supply issue on my italian front. Venice is rich in supplies so I still don't understand why the supply wagons return empty...does it matter on which stand your wagon is set?

The supply phase is at the start of the turn. It do not change mid turn. What matter is the position of the supply wagon at the start of the turn.

The movement inside the turn do not matter at all. You are wrongly analyzing what is happening. The stance do not matter.

No it do not work like that. The only explanation is that the waggon get refiled at the start of the next turn, in the region your army is in. It did not take any supply in the supply region if the movement occured inside the same turn.
