I just purchased the expansion. They make the game much more accessible. Over a slow day I was able to complete two games (Italy and Palestine).

That also will help me tackle the monster game. It was out of reach for the time commitment required.

I'm very happy with the expansion. It is well worth the investment and does demonstrate how good this game is. :)

I bought the base game yesterday and I'm pretty excited about it. I've got the impression it is the best AGEOD game so far (I'm only missing Civil War II), and pb783's is not the only good review about the expansion I've read, so I suppose I'll get it sooner or later.

Though I'll be playing SP for quite a time I wonder if there's enough people committed to MP, which I assume it'll be where the game will really shine, and I'd like to give it a try in a month or so.
