Zagreb and Ljubljana (Laibach) do seem out of synch. But Zagreb is mostly north of river Sava, and Ljubljana mostly south of the same river, so if correction is needed, Laibach should go north. There are more minor inaccuracies in Croatia and Bosnia, but the map is close enough, minor inacuaraciess do not bother me. And if I who live in Croatia don't take notice of them, they are really not so significant.

Thanks for your inputs everyone, I'm gonna give it some love in the coming days.

I've just installed WW1 Centenial Edition to have another some references and also found some early 1900' atlas.

If someone is interested, here are scans of ALL maps in Putzgers Schulatlas. This is an old Atlas ca 1907, with very good maps, not only for this game.

Entwicklung Preussens (Germany ca 1907): http://www.maproom.org/00/01/present.php?m=0072

I own an original copy which I cherish but it saves me the hassle of scanning.

I assume that it would be because rivers are divided in regions too, sort of, thus having Vistula all way down might be confusing?

Hi everybody!

Some observations from my side (living in Klagenfurt - Austria):

- the City "Spittal" should be "Villach"
- the City "Sachsenburg" is only a very small village, even today, so no need to be placed on the map
- the region called "Villach" should be called "Rosental" (this was the place where the SHS-state fought against Austria for southern Carinthia after the war)
- the region "Kaernten" should be "Lavanttal" as Kärnten is the whole Klagenfurt, Villach etc.

Cheers Chris

One more observation.
Donau should be navigable to Regensburg (currently the navigable part ends at Passau). Regensburg has a a huge port, with ships going all the way to Kiev. U-boats embarked here in WW2 and went to the Black Sea.

There is a province in England called "Petersborough". It should be Peterborough. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterborough

For England and Wales:

RegionName2053 Pool -> Poole
RegionName2040 Saint Austell -> St. Austell
RegionName2045 Petersborough -> Peterborough
RegionName2017 Machynlieth -> Machynlleth
RegionName2014 Shrewbury -> Shrewsbury
RegionName2005 Snowdon -> Snowdonia (Snowdon is a mountain, Snowdonia is the area, if you want to give the name in Welsh it is Eryri)

There are also some areas that seem to be in the wrong place, or to use odd names. For example Mercia was an Anglo-Saxon kingdom which dissappeared over a thousand years ago. It is hard to find a name for that region as the whole geography is a bit off, but Buxton or Stoke would be decent choices. I will have a better look at cities in the wrong place later.
