An update to my earlier post - one opponent found and now missing and a reply with no further contact made. So those two slots are open again. Will play the Parthian Empire in the first setup and I am up for either side in the other, but - bearing in mind a cliche as it is - I'd like to play as Carthage as I am going to read a few books about Hannibal that I have acquired while wargaming that.The game options would be: FOW of course, medium commitment delay, normal foreign entry, historical attrition and medium activation, historic generals' skills, standard naval handling rules and historical recruitment allowance - I'd say it's close to balance between hardcore realism and a more dynamic gameplay. I may also play the 1st Punic War if anyone feels like.
I am quite new to the AGEOD games so You may think here's another newcomer who is going to be no more in a matter of weeks because he gets bored and / or beaten back, but still he jumps at the highest bid possible headlong ... Well, You'll have to take that at a face value here, but it's not me, I have been a member of the Blitz for about five years now and started with BOA even earlier than this though I haven't gotten into that that much, the theater was somewhat uninspiring for me then.
