Ace, the image you displayed looks to me like a single elimination tournament bracket, since the field narrows to 8 after the first round, then 4 after the second and so on.

A double elimination tournament would look something like this

Correct, all advance out of round robin, but the round robin determines the placement in the bracket (plus everyone gets to play more games)

New member of the forums. There is a thread about combating spammers. Unfortunately, you are getting caught in the restrictions. You need to post a few more times, and be on the forums for a length of time to open all options.

Don't worry too much the timing. I expect folks will talk to their partners and sort out the best times to play. Let's shoot to have pool play wrapped up by May 1.

Forgive my silly questions, but by the "West Canpaign" you mean campaign #8 in the basic game titled, "Sibley's New Mexico Campaign, 1862 early Jan. - 1863 Early Feb. (26 turns) with the latest patch?

By "Historical attrition Max" do you mean all the way to the right? The choices are "Standard", "Historical, for player only" and "Historical, for both the player and AI'?

He means West Campaign 1862 - there is a scenario with this name. It covers the Map from the far West to the Tennessee and Alabama.

I don't seem to have this scenario. IIRC, I have 3 tutorials, the grand campaign, "seeing the elephant", Shiloh, the July 61 campaign and Sibley.

Perhaps I should leave the tournament until I can get up to speed.
