I have a couple of quibbles with the weather model:
1. When an entire state has blue skies and sun, the entire river system within the same state should not be subject to rain squalls. In my current campaign, Louisiana has fine weather but rain squalls have drenched every stretch of the Mississippi and only the river regions. I can understand a few river regions suffering from inclement weather but all of them?
2. Weather patterns seem to follow state boundary lines a little too frequently, especially out West; i.e., Texas has snow/deep cold conditions but NM regions have blue skies and sun.
Anyone else experience oddities of this nature?
