Got It

Sun May 06, 2007 2:01 pm

I got AACW Friday, and have to admit I am quite surprissed, tried the BoA demo and didn't care for it, probably due to fact that I really didn't know what I was doing. I'm starting to understand what's going on (I hope), and will attempt a campaign on easy, just to get the feel of things, (North).

Anyway, I would like to say hello to all, :dada:

Hello, and welcome.
Nicest forum I have seen. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Pocus and the rest of the team are outstanding.

Welcome.
Same thing happened to me wth BoA. :niark:
I suggest you got through tutorial and single campaigns first as this is the best way to fully understand this game.

Hope you'll enjoy the game as we all do.
Forrest said something about killing a Yankee for each of his horses that they shot. In the last days of the war, Forrest had killed 30 of the enemy and had 30 horses shot from under him. In a brief but savage conflict, a Yankee soldier "saw glory for himself" with an opportunity to kill the famous Confederate General... Forrest killed the fellow. Making 31 Yankees personally killed, and 30 horses lost...

He remarked, "I ended the war a horse ahead."

Czrasai,

I just downloaded the demo today on the advice of rasnell, who is also a member of the Out of the Park Baseball community.

I am just getting my feet wet with the demo right now, and not sure what I'm doing yet, but this game looks really, really, really good just in the little bit of time I've had to actually play it.

Welcome aboard...

I think if you find you like aacw, you take another look at BoA. It really is a fantastic game and well worth the money.
