Probably the error is due to one of these things:
You are in Windows 7 or 8 and not running as an administrator.
You do not have sufficient memory and are running high graphics.

First of all, thanks for your time and excuse my poor expression:

Your two assumptions are not correct:
- In my PC I have Windows XP Prof + SP 3 and work on it as administrator.
- My PC has sufficient resources: CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q9950 2.83 GHz, 4 GB RAM. NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT DDR February 1024 Mb

However, the error is not yours, but mine, not to bring you all the information. Then try to correct it.
I always juagdo WIA with high graphics, no stage problemas.También 1812-1815 (5-6 times). I forgot the detail that the problems started to update the file Events, As suggested here.

To test this assumption, I have replaced the same file (Events) in the copy of WIA on my laptop and I have the same error appeared. Until today, I had always played 1812-1815 WIA and without error scenario. My laptop: Windows 7 64 b + SP 1 (admin), i5-2450M 2.50 GHz CPU 4 GB RAM. NVDIA GeForce 610M + 2GB.

I hope this information is useful.

This does not seem to be an hardware error indeed, but it is not clear if this is a scripting error.
Can you switch to error logging on please, and give us the scriptreports files from the script directory?
